The Chamber Choir were in fine voice this week, singing by invitation at the ‘Darby and Joan Club’ monthly meeting at Rowley’s Day Centre in Cranleigh.
They performed a wide range of songs, ranging from stage hit ‘Cabaret’ to well know film melodies such as ‘Hallelujah’ and City of Stars’.
John Rutter’s setting of ‘For the beauty of the earth’ was very popular and everyone joined in enthusiastically with the audience participation in Ula Weber’s ‘Believe in you’.
The audience applauded warmly and the children really enjoyed the opportunity to share their musical talents with other people.
