Form 1 have taken advantage of the lovely weather to do some Maths in the outdoor classroom.

Amongst other things, their groups have: investigated 2-D shapes on the tennis courts, measured the perimeter of the 5-a-side, tallied numbers of different colours of cars in the staff car park (silver is the most popular!!) and timed how long it takes a person to slide down the slide on the Pirate ship! 

Tess found out exactly what a ‘square metre’ looks like! What fun!
