Singers from CPS braved the snow this weekend to sing in Dorking at the excellent Leith Hill Musical Festival.

The Chamber Choir sang with beautiful blend and confident harmonies in ‘Music on the Waters’ (Dove) and ‘This is me’ from the hit film ‘The Greatest Showman’.

This year they were narrowly beaten by Pennthorpe School Chapel Choir with their energetic version of ‘The Rhythm of Life’.

The Middle School Choir were attending the festival for the first time and performed with outstanding confidence. They were praised for their lovely tone and excellent communication in ‘Any dream will do’ from ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ and ‘Believe in you’ (Weber).

They were named as winners in the 11 years and under category today and brought home a shiny trophy! We are so proud of the way that both choirs represented the school today, sharing their joy of singing together with the festival audience.
