Swimming success at The Guildford District Championships

Despite having no swimming pool at school so far this term, our Middle and Upper School swimmers, combined with the Cranleigh School…

Despite having no swimming pool at school so far this term, our Middle and Upper School swimmers, combined with the Cranleigh School swimming team, achieved some surprisingly good results at the Guildford District Swimming Championships.

 

Primary Mixed Schools’ Shield (U10-11’s)  – 1st Boxgrove, 2nd Ripley Court, 3rd CPS 

Overall Girls’ Shield – 1st Guildford High, 2nd St Catherines, 3rd Tormead

Overall Boys’ Shield – Cranleigh School & Cranleigh Prep combined team – 3rd.

Many congratulations to the individuals who were placed in their events: 

Kyarra S 1st (50m freestyle), Jamie T U11 (25m freestyle), Alex W 1st (25m breaststroke), Ted S (25m fly), Sam S 3rd (50m fly), Oscar C 3rd (25m backstroke), Liam R 3rd (swimming a year up U13 50m freestyle), Siena R 3rd (25m fly), Tadgh M 3rd (25m free)

The U10 Boys’ Medley Relay came 3rd (Tadgh M, Will K, Alex W, Henry L (U9)
