The Autumn Concert was a delightful evening of collaborative music making. All of the major ensembles were taking part, with plenty of variety in style and sounds.

For many children in the Lower School it was their first major performance in front of a packed hall, and they rose to the occasion beautifully with their ‘Rise up Shepherd’ and ‘Freezing Fingers’ songs.

Many people really enjoyed the Contemporary Band and the Lower School Choir and Orchestra, where both singing and playing were combined.

We saw evidence of real progress in the instrumental ensembles and chamber music groups, and the choral work showed some very confident choreography and high quality singing.

Despite it still being November, we had a hint of the Christmas fun that is on its way and everyone left feeling uplifted and very proud of their hard work.
