Cranleigh Abu Dhabi has been shortlisted in the International School of the Year category of the Tes Independent Schools Awards 2018.

These Awards review initiatives and achievements from the last academic year, and aim to: “…applaud excellence and reward innovation”.

The other schools shortlisted in the same category are: British School Muscat, Jumeirah College Dubai, and Prince of Wales Island International School in Penang. The full list across all award categories is here. The Awards ceremony will be in London in February and, whether Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is the ultimate winner or not, this shortlisting is an excellent achievement and is testament to the energy and dedication of the amazing Cranleigh community.

During the last five years, Michael Wilson has been instrumental in helping to establish Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, from its inception as an idea to its current place as New British International School of the Year 2017, as well as runner up in the UAE’s Top Schools Awards, in addition to this latest accolade.

Whilst we are sorry to be losing Michael Wilson as our Headmaster here at Cranleigh Prep School at the end of the Summer term 2018, we will continue to benefit from his passion for the Cranleigh family of schools as he moves on to become Headmaster of Cranleigh Abu Dhabi.

The new Head of Cranleigh Prep School will be announced before the end of this term.
