January, Form 2 were transformed into Romans for the day.

They were visited by a Roman centurion who taught them about life in the Roman Empire in the first century A.D. through the use of artefacts and storytelling.

The pupils tried out Roman battle formations, learnt about Roman weapons, found out how and why the Romans came to Britain and about life in Rome itself.

They also got to act out Roman pastimes which included Gladiator fighting and chariot racing!
