year running, the boys also came 1st in their section and so we went on to win the overall shield for Cranleigh Prep School.

This year CPS entered a mixed team of 24 children from Year 3 to Year 6, many of whom were not members of our regular school team,  but those “swim enthusiasts” wishing to get involved at a competitive level.

Six local schools took part and the times taken by all the competitors were the fastest the organisers had recorded during the competition to date.  Cranleigh Prep were 1st, St Cuthbert Mayne 2nd, Park Mead 3rd, Tillingbourne 4th, Cranleigh Primary 5th and Wonersh & Shamley Green came 6th.

Many congratulations and a big thank you to the following children for giving up their time on Sunday to represent CPS:

Ella S, Frankie M, Ruby M, Isabella W, Siena R

Will K, Tadgh M, Alex W, Sebastian S

Fenella W, Alex R, Baye H-D

Thomas H, James M, Oscar C, Archie H

Sasha P,  Tabitha S, Sophie S, Emily R

Freddie P, Jamie T, Liam R, Monty N
