The School chapel looked stunning, in preparation for the annual Harvest Festival celebrations. The window sills, several tables and the altar were embellished with goodies ranging from fresh fruits, vegetables and home baked cakes to chocolates, biscuits and tinned food.

After a wonderful, uplifting service, Ollie and Millie (the School’s head boy and head girl), plus the chapel prefects Louis, Blake, Alannah, James, Nina and Vito, loaded cars with all the Harvest goodies. Then Ollie, Millie and Neil Green (the School chaplain) visited Rowleys Day Centre in Cranleigh, laden with generous gifts donated by pupils and parents at CPS.Young boy and girl with choir at Harvest Festival

They were accompanied by Catherine Beddison, Director of Music, and the Chamber Choir who sang for the residents of Rowleys, delighting them with their renditions of ‘The Fruits of the Land’ (Ogden), ‘The Great Southland’ (arr.Weaver) and ‘Sing Praise and Thanksgiving ‘(Archer).
