On Monday Form 5 enjoyed a fantastic night at the theatre!  After being treated to a lovely meal in the Cranleigh School dining room, they then walked over to the Vivian Cox Theatre, where they watched the junior production of “After Juliet.”

The play, written by Scottish playwright Sharman Macdonald, follows on from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and answers the question “What happened to the Capulets and Montagues after Romeo and Juliet died?”  From the very beginning, Form 5 were transfixed by the energetic acting, captivating singing and powerful music.  The children enjoyed watching many of the former Prep School pupils performing and were inspired by their success.
