"The very broad curriculum provides marvellous opportunities for pupils' all round development."
Independent School Inspectorate 2006

Our curriculum, and the way it is presented by Common Room, ignites a genuine passion within each pupil for learning. It entices children to explore their intellectual, technical, creative and physical selves. The study of English, Mathematics, Science, French, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art, Music, Design Technology, I.C.T., Dance/Drama and P.E. is both compulsory and captivating.

A carefully considered combination of mixed-ability form groups, with setting and streaming for subject teaching, ensures individual pupils work at an appropriate pace. For some children, that pace enables them to go forward to sit for Academic Scholarships. For others, learning support is on hand to assist when specific difficulties arise.

The learning environment is first rate. New or refurbished facilities which include an excellent library, science laboratories, music practice and orchestral rehearsal rooms, a recording studio, a computer laboratory, a suite of design and technology rooms, a dance/drama studio and theatre, all designed to inspire and uplift our young pupils.
