Forms 5 and 6 (National Curriculum Years 7-8) consists of four parallel forms with a maximum of 16 pupils in each form. Children come into Form 5 via a selective entry at 11+ and join with those who already attend the school. There is setting and streaming for all academic subjects, with specialist teaching throughout. In addition, the timetable allows for a substantial investment of the pupils’ time in the pursuit of the creative arts, music, sports and games. The pupils in Form 6 sit for Common Entrance and Scholarship Examinations in June for entry to their chosen senior schools. The Upper School programme is designed specifically to meet the needs of the senior pupils, given their age, maturity, intellectual curiosity, physical ability and energy levels! They work hard, play hard and have fun. In addition to the form tutors, additional Upper School specialist teaching staff include: (email address in brackets- add @cranprep.org)
